Buying a fursuit
« on: October 29, 2009, 08:08 AM »

So am am saving up the money for a fursuit now. Should have it all together by the end of next month.

Now the thing is that I don't really know of any good names in them. So if you can post every link you have to fursuit creaters. And I mean all of them. They don't have to be well known names or any thing like that. Heck they could just be random dudes that are on FA for all I care. I can always sort through the ones I like and don't like

hun give me a bit today and i'll have a good list for you... off the top of my head it's...
Don't Hug Cacti they are a bit pricey but for thier style and quality they are SO WORTH IT  They are who i'm getting my suit done by, and who did Jt's suit.

There is Hyenagirl, last i checked, she had good prices and good suits.

hmmm oh do NOT under Any circumstances EVER go with JessKitt...>,<

I'll have more peeps for you a bit later okies? I went through a list myself before settling on DHC

Also what is it you want? Full? Partial? cause some only specialize in one or the other. And when do you want it by?

Personally, I think it gives a much more satisfying feeling and much deeper attachment and meaning to the suit if you make it yourself. However, we DO live in the age of rampant consumerism, so...

These guys are _GOOD_ they're a little high, imo, but they put out VERY good work:

I just dont reccomend their "makeup" (which is really PAX Paint and is not only harsh on your skin but a B**** to remove)

Don't Hug Cacti win for best name.

Joecifur is another creator that I see tossed around a lot.

Okay here's a whole bunch of them I'm going to throw at you. I'll add my own comments to each of them when I deem necessary.

http://www.mixedcandy.com/
Latin Vixen's studio. One of the "popufur" fursuit makers.

http://lacy.timduru.org/
Fursuits by Lacy.

http://www.beastcub.com/
Beastcub does really good quadsuits, imo. I've heard iffy things about her like she lets her cats lay all up on her furs which would be an issue if you have allergies.

http://www.furaffinity.net/user/mangoislandcreations
Mango Island Creations which is the artist Sapphire's fursuit studio. She's one of the two fursuit makers I'm considering. She also makes kigurumis and hoodies.

http://www.kilcodocostumes.com/
Kilcodo Costumes which is Kilcodo's studio. She has a unique look to her suits that I like which is why she's the other person I'm considering commissioning.

http://b3mascots.com/
Joecifur's studio.

http://www.mercurypale.com/fursuit.html
Fursuits by Jill0r. She has a good quality and if you're looking for a fullsuit, she usually collabs with Joecifur I believe.

I just started watching Media and his stuff is really good. :]

I have a couple of faves too.

Don't Hug Cacti, Mixed Candy, Lacy and such were already named (I'm getting mine from DHC btw ;)), but I also like Furr Happens, One Fur All, Arend Studios and White Wolf.

A lot of great makers out there.

No one mentioned my suit maker so I'll list her here. She's amazing. http://dreamvision.ash.com/ She can be seen on both DA and Youtube as Monoyasha http://www.youtube.com/user/Monoyasha#p/u/8/Vjow6g8OTM0

http://qarrezel.deviantart.com/ Qarrezel does amazing fursuits. I've seen many of them while at FurFright last year.  I'd love to have her do one for me sometime.

Those are Wonderful suits, and suit makers.
Perhaps it wouldn't be bad to alos make mention [without bashing] suit makers to avoid.
