Glad to hear it :)

Yeah, sayings like that make me feel... odd... because there are people who are doing a lot better than me, but also people doing a lot worse... I'm at this weird place where, yeah, my problems are mostly small, but I have lots and lots of them so they add up --- but I don't have really horrible ones like physical illness or disability, so... yeah...  I am sad for people who have cancer and am glad I only have depression, but I also feel jealous of the people that have neither... so I feel bad/bad/good... if that makes any sense (which it may not... I had like 2 hours of sleep last night thanks to issues with my PC and then my Phone... plus basic insomnia... like I said, all minor problems but a large pile of them...)

Thank you, I have a few options on the horizon... but the horizon is still a ways off... and if things get any worse I may take you up on that chat...

wow, I had no idea, which is ironic since, not counting you, I've known two other ppl from that area and played online games with at least another dozen over the years... Thank you

Well, while there's always people who has it worse than you, that doesn't invalidate your own problems. It might sometimes help to put it in perspective, and make things that seem bigger than they are less looming and threatening, but they are still perfectly valid.

Feel free whenever you need an ear. PM me for either a Telegram or a Discord too if you want. I may not be a certified therapist, but I'm used to hear people out, and I've been known to -occasionally- give some half-decent advice too.

Norwegians adapt to the English standards when online, so we answer "fine, fine" and such, but yeah. We have no qualms about telling you about our day, the recent water damage to our house, that asshole at the bus today, etc. etc. if you ask us how we are. Most of the time you'll get a "Oh, just fine.", but certainly not always. I had no idea up until a while back that it was pretty much impolite to actually answer the question. Or, if not impolite, then certainly weird/awkward when people just want to small-talk.

Also, have this song about how it could always be worse.

Y'know I've been part of this fandom for like, 12 years now. I still haven't ever really expressed it outside of the online world. Nor do I really have a need to. It's more of a respite than a lifestyle for me.

Ok, I'm downright desperate... I've not been able to RP in probably close to a year... and then it was with someone I've RP'd with for nearly TWENTY YEARS so it was downright dull and predictable...

Only real requirement is ABSOLUTELY NO DICE!!! I have tried and hated attempting tabletop over forum... not only is it painfully slow, but its impossible to really surprise anyone since  in a 2-fur RP, both the DM and the player have to know absolutely every stat and secret, which makes it boring and puts a heavy strain on the DM to 100% run the plot and keep everything in-line with the rules... (also if anyone so much as mentions GURPS I will scream X_X there's a reason I took as few math classes in school as I could... I don't want to have to learn trigonometry and calculus in order to make a pointy-stick to defend myself with...)

I'm open to Medieval Fantasy, Modern Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Sci-Fan, Post-Apocalypse, hell I'll even do MLP (through it will be in one of my own modified worlds based loosely on S3 (I think) because I have not kept up with it since they ruined my favorite parts).

So... Who's up for some wild furry adventures? *insane hungry grin*

Well, as we all know, people by thier very nature want the juicy gossip, andto point and laugh at what they think is different, and Many of them secretly are into, or wish they were into these sort of things.

Yes, that song is from 1982 and still oh so very relevant. (and to be fair, this goes back as far as human history with known records as far back as ancient Greece and speculation that even some old-testament bible verses are alluding to proverbial Dirty Laundry of rulers of the era)

But still all very valid points. I was also shocked when (for completely unrelated reasons) I was browsing Urban Dictionary and under "Furry" I scrolled through no less than FIVE definitions and ALL of them were positive and made it clear furries are NOT all sex-crazed perverts --- one of the last places I was expecting to find positive press! While we're still miles from the average John/Jane Doe knowing the truth (and a lot of them not even knowing WHAT we are, for better or worse) I think we're finally making progress again!

and side-note, your thoughts were perfectly clear, kat, nothing like the rambling mess I tend to post when I first wake up x_x

I'm doing pretty good, yeah.. Thanks.

Y'know, nothing makes you appreciate the stuff you have more than the misfortune of others. Save, perhaps your own misfortune.

Either way, I really do hope things turn for the better for you soon. I'm open for a chat should you need anything.

And remember, in Norway that's not just platitudes. We actually answer truthfully when people ask "How are you?". It makes English people super awkward sometimes.

Glad to hear it :)
